Early predictions for Super Bowl

How did your team fare this weekend? Is your team looking like a Super Bowl contender?  Former 49ers Quarterback Joe Montana told Yahoo! Sports Radio, " Everybody in the Bay Area is excited to see how it's going to go.  Their defense played spectacular last year, and if they can even come close to that, I think the've got a good chance of going all the way."  Joe Cool isn't the only one thinking this way.

Sunday Football is back!

Sports fans had lots of options last weekend with baseball and NFL and College football. The Packers and 49ers faced one of the most competitive contests in the NFL's opening weekend schedule of games.  Wide receiver Randy Moss made his return to Lambeau Field to face a Packers team he’s caught 15 touchdowns against all-time.

LaDainian Tomlinson's Second Career

LaDainian Tomlinson isn't sitting still.  Only retired since June, he is quickly embarking on his second career. The 2006 MFL MVP is joining NFL Network and Sirius XM Radio as a broadcaster. He'll be on NFL Networks new Sunday morning show, 'First on the Field." as well as host fantasy football for Sirius XM.  AS a Charger and Jets, Tomlinson rushed for 13,684 yards, fifth on the career list, and scored 162 touchdowns, third most ever.  Looking forward to tuning in and hearing his perspective.

Randy Moss and Terrell Owens in a tie

Randy Moss shares a common thread with Terrell Owens. They are both tied for second on the all-time touchdown reception list.  Moss and Owens both have 153 TD catches; Jerry Rice owns the record of 197. Even though Moss is 35 and may not be fast, his work out ethic at practice is above many of the younger kids.  Its probably why the 49ers signed him. Can't wait to see what he does on the field this season and who will catch up to Rice faster.

Junior Seau Death

Junior Seau died on May 2, 2012. He was a great linebacker for the Chargers, Dolphins and the Patriots and a fine player that will always be remembered. Over the years we have worked with Junior Seau and he was always very pleasant. Our prayers go out to his family and friends.
