The Super Bowl 52 Football is now available at National Sports Distributors. This is the same game model football as used in Super Bowl LII. Each Super Bowl 52 football has both team names (New England Partiots and Philadelphia Eagles), the date, the location and the Super Bowl LII logo imprinted on the football. This is a great collectible to have for any sports memorabilia collection. This football can be ordered at this link Super Bowl 52 Football.
The history about the Super Bowl footballs goes back to Super Bowl 20 when the Chicago Bears played in the game. Wilson Sporting Goods, the manufacturer of the NFL Game footballs said "Let's make a special football for the Super Bowl since our team will be in the game." Wilson took the NFL Game football and changed the NFL logo to the Super Bowl XX logo, added the date, location and the team names for this football being used in the Super Bowl. This tradition has continued since Super Bowl 20. The Super Bowl footballs were never being sold or marketed until Robert Hemphill of National Sports Distributors came up with the idea in 1989. Not only did he sell the current Super Bowl football for that year but also had the previous Super Bowl footballs remade from Super Bowl 20 to the current year. Additionally, he designed and recreated a "Super Bowl 16" and "Super Bowl 19" football which became a great collectible for the autographed Joe Montana marketplace.
