Joe Montana secured ALL the available #16 seatbacks from Candlestick Park and delivered them to National Sports Distributors. Working together, Joe Montana and National Sports Distributors are now offering these Candlestick Park Seatbacks for sale.

The color of the seatbacks vary. There are three primary colors, orange, brown and red. Over the years of exposure to the weather and sun, many of the orange seatbacks have changed color. They start off as orange and change to a brown color. The red seatbacks basically remain red, but many have changed to a deeper red color. All of the seatbacks have some degree of oxidation. This oxidation creates a white "game used" look to the seatbacks. The oxidation is usually on the top half of the seatbacks and some seatbacks have much more than others. Many people prefer this "game used" look. The brown seatbacks tend to have less oxidation or very little at all. At National Sports Distributors, if requested, we will be glad to pick out a seat with your desired degree of oxidation.

Joe Montana has autographed the seatbacks in several different ways. Joe autographed seatbacks with just his Joe Montana autograph, with the special inscription HOF 2000, with three inscription on the same seatback "4X SB Champ, 3X SB MVP, HOF 2000," and with "I Left My Heart in SF!" Prices vary from $399 to $699 each.

In addition, some seatbacks have also been autographed by Dwight Clark, Jerry Rice and Steve Young. Dwight Clark has autographed seatbacks with all the following on the same seatback - his autograph, the special inscription "The Catch 1-10-82," the name of the play "Sprint Right Option," and with the hand written diagram of "The Catch Play" with all the x's and o's as reflected in the 49ers playbook. The price for this seatback is $299. This seatback is also available with Dwight Clark and Joe Montana as well for $599. Another version of the autographed seatbacks is available with three great 49ers all on once seatback - Jerry Rice, Joe Montana and Steve Young for $799.
